The Coat of Arms

MOST REV. JAYA RAO POLIMERA
"Instaurare Omnia in Christo"
“Renew all things in Christ”

The shield in the coat of arms is diagonally divided.

1. THE LOWER SEGMENT gives a geographical tinge of the place: Eluru is blessed with the waters of Godavari and Krishna, and with the Kolleru that is hallowed by the pelican visit.

2. THE UPPER SEGMENT presents the spiritual motif: the Spirit renews the world in Christ (cross and globe) by enlightening and sanctifying the community of believers (church) under the protective care of Mother Mary.

Thus the motto “Renew all things in Christ” is well reflected in the crest.
